        II              Installation (on Windows PC)
                        ============================


BREAKFIT has been tested on IBM-type PCs under
Windows XP Professional (64 bit, 32 bit). In principle,
the installation comprises (1) copying of BREAKFIT files
and (2) installation of the freeware graphics program
Gnuplot (version 4.2 or higher).

Copy the BREAKFIT files
to your BREAKFIT directory (say, C:\BREAKFIT).
(If you obtained the zipped version (BREAKFIT.ZIP),
unzip the files to your BREAKFIT directory.)


Install Gnuplot (pkzipped version 4.2 on my academic URL) similarly.
Gnuplot executable has to be in your system path as
'gnuplot.exe'.

BREAKFIT may be run from the DOS window with the command

        BREAKFIT

or double-clicked from Windows Explorer.
